Our biggest update in years is in its final stretch. Two minutes of prep today, a smooth upgrade on release day.
WPeMatico 2.9 is almost here. We’ve rebuilt the parts of the plugin you touch every day โ the dashboard, the settings, the tools, the add-ons page โ and it changes how WPeMatico feels from the first second you open it.
Before it lands, here’s what’s coming and what to check so your site is ready on day one.
What’s coming in WPeMatico 2.9
๐งฉ One dashboard, 36 features, one switch each โ almost everything important that the core and your add-ons can do, all on a single screen. No more digging through three pages to find out what’s on.
๐ฌ Vimeo campaigns are now FREE โ paste a user, channel or group URL and you’re done. It used to be a paid add-on; now it’s built in.
๐ A dashboard widget that tells you something โ posts today, active campaigns, next run, a 7-day chart, and a Needs a look tab that only appears when a campaign needs you.
โก Everything feels faster โ System Status opens in 27 ms instead of 10 seconds, the Add-ons page renders in nearly half the time and installs the free add-ons in one click.
โ๏ธ Settings rebuilt, plus a new Feed List โ a proper side menu with named sections, and every feed on your site in one searchable, sortable table.
Get ready in three steps
- Update WPeMatico first, then your add-ons. 2.9 lands on WordPress.org first; every add-on then gets a new release built for it โ Professional 3.7 and the other fourteen. Your add-on updates will wait for the core on purpose, so install 2.9 and the rest follow.
- Make sure your license is active. With an active license, each add-on release lands in your dashboard the day it ships. If an add-on ever runs ahead of the core, nothing is deactivated behind your back: a notice tells you exactly which version puts it right.

Not using the add-ons yet? Professional unlocks 20+ pro features, and Full Content imports the complete article from the source โ not just the RSS snippet. Both will be ready for 2.9 on day one.
