Recommended security update for all users. WPeMatico 2.8.27 follows feed redirects only to addresses a feed may live on, extends the list of blocked addresses, and makes campaigns with several feeds on the same site do less work on every run.
Campaigns now handle permissions more safely, while feed validation, private and local feed support, and campaign previews receive important improvements for a more reliable and secure workflow.
Stronger protection for WPeMatico administration with hardened permission checks for settings, tools, system status, imports, and internal actions, plus clearer access-denied messages.
A recommended performance and stability release. Campaign data is no longer read on every page request — lower memory usage and a faster site on installations with many campaigns — plus multipage feeds no longer repeat posts, and full PHP 8.4 compatibility.
A recommended security maintenance release. Campaign action controls (Run Now, Copy, Activate/Deactivate, Reset, Delete Hashes, Clear/Break) now include stricter permission checks to prevent unintended access on multi-author sites.
