Table of Contents
Hi, it’s the Robotico. 🤖
I’ve been deep in the workshop, and I’m happy to roll out WPeMatico Full Content 2.9.
Every time you run a campaign, I’m the one racing out to each source URL, grabbing the complete article, and bringing back the title, date, author and image. This release makes me faster, safer, and easier to work with on every single trip.
I made imports faster
- I learned to detect character encoding more cleverly, so for most sites I no longer need that extra network request per article. Less running around, quicker fetches.
- When you only want the Open Graph image, I now skip the content-processing steps I don’t need. Why do the heavy work if you didn’t ask for it?
I tightened up security
- I’m stricter now when you upload config files and when I create author accounts automatically from article bylines. Safer for your site, same convenience for you.
I behave better with the Open Graph image
This is where I did the most fine-tuning:
- “Add it above the content” now uses the real Open Graph image from the source page — not the RSS feed image — and I download it properly when you’ve enabled image downloads.
- “Only if no image in content” finally means what it says: I won’t override your content image as the featured one.
- If you switch off the parent option, my sub-options stay off too. No more surprise images above your posts.
I cleaned up the workbench (editor & preview)
- The Meta data tab in Preview now shows the Open Graph and Twitter tags instead of staring back at you blankly.
- Config files open every time you click them, and saving a file you’re already editing no longer trips a false domain error.
- The Visual / HTML / Meta data tabs respond after a result loads.
- The Full Content settings tab shows up correctly after the latest WPeMatico core updates.
- “Move to Uploads” now finds your folders and files on more server setups.
I’m ready for modern PHP
On PHP 8.2+ I no longer throw that mb_convert_encoding() deprecation notice — I keep your Unicode characters exactly as they are, no messy entity conversion.
One thing I need: I run on WPeMatico 2.8.21 or higher, so make sure your core is up to date.
I never really stop working
Updates like this are just part of my routine. I’m maintained all year round — kept in step with the newest PHP and WordPress, tuned for speed, and patched fast whenever something needs attention. Keeping your license active is what keeps me showing up with improvements like these.
Keep me running with WPeMatico Full Content 2.9
Want me on the job with every future update? Renew your WPeMatico Full Content license so you never miss an update, fix or bit of priority support.
Bring the whole crew
I don’t work alone. The WPeMatico Essentials membership gets you me and the rest of the premium add-ons under one license — every tool, every update, no buying them one at a time. If you’re serious about autoblogging, that’s how you put the whole team to work.
Update to WPeMatico Full Content 2.9 and let me do the heavy lifting. See you on the next fetch. 🤖
