Can I have campaign feed content
- display as subpages?
- appear on a specified page?
If so, how?
Actually just as pages. (Not subpages) but is a good option for the future.
For appear as posts on a specified page you must have a page template that show posts from certain categories or tags (determined by your campaign)

Feed crons don’t run unless I do it manually. I have the latest version, I want to buy the pro version but why don’t the feeds auto post as they did with the older WPeMatico?

On simplepie library used by WordPress for RSS, every instance of “=& new” in the code, the “&” is now deprecated on PHP 5.3.

When the new version of simplepie was released will be replaced in the plugin too. Meanwhile will fix on next release.

Does the pro version allow for only adding a feed if filter keyword exist in the title. In other words, I don’t want to filter OUT based on keyword, I want to filter IN.
The plugin have keyword filters based on content or title and two areas: MUST include word or CANNOT include word. Of course supports multiple words in every area

Great feature, thnking of grabbing the pro version, but for now we’re just facing some minor problems.
- {Rewrite options) completely don’t work
- Some Feeds are cut after xx words. Seems in the original there is a link, of pagebreaker.
- some feeds give the title but a blank text
- RegEx doesn’t work
Further it helps us to save 3 hours a day allready, perfect!

is there a way so that the original date/time of the “feed” could be maintained on the post. As i saw, all the posts are dated at the time that is created. I would like to create a “timeline” from different sources.

You should not base your buying decision on the feature “full-content”, because doesn’t works with all sites. Depends of website and feed used. Many of them are protected.
But if you have rights for use, you can send me the feed and I’ll tell you if is working well before you buy.

about your RSS, these feeds don’t work well with full content. I think the sites are too hardcoded.

for Keywords you can use post template feature or categoiries and tags features.
On PRO version you can also use automatic tags feature, but not include inside post content.

Most of the time it’s something related to the source feed. check if your issue are on all feeds, then may be something related with your hosting configuration about uploading external files.
Or may be your Image settings. Images Cache and Images attach to posts on WPeMatico Settings.
Hi. I’ve done more testing & research on the wootheme that I’m using. According to woothemes the issue is a pathing issue. When I manually upload an image the path is:http://new.linkedlocalnetwork.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/JimTreleaven.jpg
When wpematico uploads an image the path is http://new.linkedlocalnetwork.com/wp-content/uploads//2012/11/image-425589-thumbsmall-hfih.jpg
The difference from what I can tell is the “//” between uploads & 2012 directories. How/What do I change in order to remove the extra ?

What about to update the internal SimplePie to 1.3.1. This version corrects some BUGs. One of them makes, for example, grab feeds from Slideshare not works.
How it control duplicate posts… As you can see… it started to create the same post 4x… There is a solution for this!?

When I update one of the current campaigns I get the same cron scheduled for 1970 which of course will never run.

is there a way to temporarily disable check for duplicates, and accept all items in a feed? Some of my posts have duplicate titles, but are different posts. I have deleted hash, and enabled “allow unfiltered content”, but it is still refusing to grab the posts with duplicate titles. Thank you very much for any ideas.
I just downloaded the plugin and have one problem when it reads the RSS from google alerts. Somehow it has the <b> </b> in between. It suppose to be bold.

the <b> only happens in the title which is the keyword.
FC, you’ll have to edit the plugin’s code to replace <b> and </b> in the titles.

JUST AFTER:

OK, I understand that you say title area that mean homepage. You must edit your theme for not show content or excerpt.

WPeMatico PRO version has this feature. You can rename original title with a string with a counter.

If you check (allow) dup. Titles and uncheck dup. Hash you get what you need.

For whatever reason, wpematico doesn’t let videos inside of posts to be embedded in the posts… I have several news sites that provide feeds with videos and wpematico seems to strip out the video embeds… Any ideas? Anyone?

I have been using Wpematico for a while and it used to auto generate tags when creating posts. It stopped autogenerating tags about 6 months back. Any ideas when the problem will be fixed.

Have yet to see PRO pull a full content feed from the RSS feeds you approved, Etruel. The {content} variable is always empty so far. This makes the post look strange when all it has it a title and a link to the source but no content.
Suggestion: How about programming it so IF there is no full content, then the RSS feed’s content is used instead. That way, those of us spending the extra $$ don’t feel cheated when Full Content feature doesn’t generate any content.Thanks!

The feature works on almost all sites but not all. If you are trying with the feeds that I test then must be work. Please contact me by email. May be can see something on settings or your hosting not allow get external file contents
On next version (may be august) you can select trash or skip if no image or no content…
“IF there is no full content, then use RSS feed’s content” is a good idea, too.
